Chris Brown flaunts his new girlfriend

Chris Brown is officially dating someone new – an unspecified exotical. The couple was spotted leaving a NYC club the other night – holding hands.

Q&A reveals that she's a “Los Angeles girl” that traveled to NYC with Chris.

It’s a bit of calm before the storm. Breezy’s in training to take his beef with Soulja Boy to the ring in what would be the craziest boxing match ever. All this over his ex that he still can’t let go of, Karrueche Tran. So this new chick may want to keep her guard (fists) up.

Senate says NO! to FG’s ban on car importation by land

The Senate, on Wednesday, unanimously rejected the Federal Government’s ban on the importation of vehicles through the land borders in the country. It described the policy as ‘anti-people and meant to further impoverish Nigerians.’

Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, who presided, specifically urged President Muhammadu Buhari to listen to the cries of Nigerians and rescind the decision.

Ekweremadu noted: “From the contributions made, it is obvious that the policy is unpopular. We are representatives of the people and the people have spoken through us that they do not want this policy. I think those in government should listen to them.”

Adopting two of the three prayers, the Senate called on the Customs Service to immediately suspend further action on its policy of an outright ban on the importation of vehicles through our land borders as from 1st January, 2017.

The Senate Committee on Customs and Excise was mandated to investigate the circumstances that led to the sudden decision of the Federal Government on the issue of the car importation through the land borders.

Sponsor of the motion, Senator Barau Jibrin from Kano State, explained that the ban would lead to the loss of about 500,000 jobs by the people engaged in the business of vehicle importation and handling services in the border areas and around the country.

10-Reasons why you need GINGER in your every meal

Earlier this year, I had a day where I experienced a sore throat and sinus irritation. I didn’t reach for a box of any over-the-counter remedy, instead I juiced a fair amount of ginger and lemon and added it to a tea. I was very satisfied with the relief I felt. My experience was nothing new; ginger, or ginger root, has been cultivated and used therapeutically for thousands of years. Traditional medicine systems all over the world have applied it to a wide range of ailments, including calming an upset stomach. Recent studies of ginger have confirmed this effect and much more…

1. Helps Calm Nausea and Vomiting

Clinical studies have proven ginger’s effectiveness at calming nausea and vomiting.Research has also confirmed its potential against chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV). The majority of studies found a positive effect against this side effect of aggressive therapies. Ginger may be a powerful option for those suffering from toxic medical procedures like these.
2. Digestive Tract Protection

Ginger has also been historically used for flatulence, constipation, bloating, and other digestive complaints. In addition to these gastro-protective effects, researchers have found ginger to be effective for stress related ulcers.

3. Brain Health

Ginger contains compounds that have demonstrated protective effects for the brain. One of them, known as 6-Shogaol, inhibited the release and expression of redness-causing chemicals known to cause damage to neurons in both in vitro and in vivo models. The other, 10-gingerol, when sourced from fresh ginger, similarly impacted production of nitric oxide and other chemicals that lead to redness and swelling in the brain.

4. Migraine Relief

In a clinical trial, 100 patients received ginger powder or a drug given to migraine sufferers. The results showed the ginger powder helped reduce migraine related discomfort… without side effects.

5. Protection from UV Rays

Research data has shown ginger possesses UV absorbing capabilities that protect against DNA damage related to UVB (ultraviolet-B) light. Extracts from ginger stimulated antioxidant production, suggesting protective effects against potentially damaging UV light.

6. Supports Stable Blood Sugar

Ginger has repeatedly demonstrated powerful blood sugar balancing effects. It acts on insulin release and sensitivity, and supports the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids. In one study, insulin levels noticeably lowered with ginger supplementation. In addition to its effectiveness as a blood sugar stabilizer, ginger has also demonstrated powerful protective effects against diabetic kidney, eye and liver complications.

7. Promotes Healthy Blood Pressure

Thai medical practitioners have traditionally used herbs such as ginger to support healthy blood pressure. Extracts from ginger and other herbs used in Thai therapeutic recipes were evaluated for their effectiveness against hypertension. The ginger extract was the most effective.

8. May Benefit Osteoarthritis

A recent in vitro study tested ginger against drugs used for osteoarthritis — the ginger extract was demonstrated to be as effective. Another study involving 43 osteoarthritis patients found ginger to be as effective and more safe than the NSAIDs.

9. Helps with Muscle Aches and Discomfort

A recent 2013 study has evaluated ginger for use in relieving muscle discomfort in female athletes. Over the course of this 6-week trial, participants taking ginger reported a significant decrease in muscle soreness as compared to the placebo.

10. May Benefit Cardiovascular Function

One of the active compounds in ginger, 6-gingerol, has been isolated, tested and determined an active factor in regulating blood pressure and supporting cardiovascular health. Based on the results, researchers are exploring the potentials of ginger as a remedy for cardiovascular problems.
Using Ginger

Ginger has an extremely robust flavor which makes consuming it a little bit tricky. It might be too strong to ingest on its own, but as I mentioned, it mixes incredibly well into tea or juice, it can be a great ingredient in a recipe, and you can also find it as an ingredient in some healthy snacks.

What’s your favorite way to consume it? Please leave a comment below and share with us!

Woman gives Birth to Quadruplets after 17-Miscarriages... God is great!!

Lytina Kaur had 17 miscarriages and was told she would never give birth again. Check her out with her 4 children, all born in just nine months.

Lytina was told she may never be able to give birth after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, an aggressive cancer of the white blood cells, at the age of 17 and receiving a bone marrow transplant a year later.

However 13 years and several miscarriages later, Lytina, 32, from Wollaton in Nottingham, found out she had fallen pregnant. She gave birth to her first daughter Kiran in September 2015. Her twins,
Kajal and Kavita, were born via surrogate in India two months later.

And in June 2016, Lytina gave birth to Kiyara at the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham.

Lytina, who first started trying to get pregnant after her 2007 wedding, said:
'I had 17 miscarriages in total and they were all hard but that one (the first of which happened in 2010 after she conceived twins) was the most difficult because it was my first and I had been carrying them for a long time.'

She decided to explore adoption, but after being told there were no suitable Asian children available, she and her husband started looking at surrogacy.

Between 2013 and 2015, a hospital in India made six attempts to implant an embryo into a surrogate – but each ended in miscarriage and the couple gave up.

But then, in February 2015, Lytina found out she had fallen pregnant naturally as she was planning to undergo IVF.

A delighted Lytina gave birth to her first daughter, Kiran, via a planned C-section at the Queen's Medical Centre in September 2015.
She said:

'It was quite a shock. My husband and I were waiting for a miscarriage. We just presumed it was going to happen. Every day was so hard. I didn't go places and I didn't drive because I didn't want to add any unnecessary stress. It was horrific.
'I didn't tell my family. I didn't tell anyone. I didn't want people to get excited for a miscarriage to happen again.
'Luckily you couldn't tell I was pregnant.'

After 10-years of childlessness ... Woman gives birth to Quintuplets (Five) in Calabar

Interesting! After ten years of waiting, a couple was today blessed with quintuplets comprising of 3 girls and 2 boys in the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.

According to history, this would be the first time the UCTH, and Cross River State as a whole is witnessing such a miracle.

The proud father of the quintuplets, Dr. Ekpo Edet, could not hold back his joy and excitement as he could be seen beaming with smiles. The proud father said:

"I want to thank God almighty, He’s a faithful God. The first time in the history of Cross River State, the first time in the history of UCTH. Five at a go! God has been just been faithful as we have concluded the first phase and the doctors have confirmed that the babies are kicking. We are entering into the second phase and I know it’s not going to be easy but I solicit for support from all well-meaning Nigerians, all my friends and well-wishers."

Speaking upon meeting the parents of the quintuplets, the governor's wife, Linda Ayade, expressed her delight as this was another first in the State’s history. She said it’s a sign of good tidings in the state and country at large. She thanked the new mother for opting for professional services of birth attendants. Her Excellency after showering the babies with prayers further made a donation of one million naira to the celebrating couple and another five hundred thousand naira to the medical experts who made sure the babies were delivered successfully. Including the lady that had a set of twins upon entering the new year.

The State Commissioner for Health , Dr. Inyang Asibong, congratulated the father of the babies who in spite of the whole tension and expectations during the period of the pregnancy was steadfast as it has been a long wait for the couple. She thanked the very capable Obstetrics and Gynecology team for their professionalism and also the pediatrics team who will be taking over to ensure the babies stay healthy.

The quintuplets are currently in the Special Care Babies Unit and are in very good condition.

Man is jailed for 22 years after stealing TV remote from a block of flats

35-year-old Eric Bramwell was jailed for 22 years for stealing a TV remote from a block of flats and was told by the judge that he must serve at least half of his jail sentence before been considered for release.
Bramwell stole the TV remote from an apartment building in Wheaton, Illinois, USA, on August 1, 2015, after which he left behind a glove containing traces of his DNA at the scene.
The 22 years sentence might seem like too heavy a punishment for such a crime, however, Bramwell is facing such severe sentence due to his long criminal history, one of them being alleged theft from other apartments in the area.

Eric Bramwell was found guilty in November and sentenced in January to 22 years imprisonment.

Prosecutors said that due to his criminal history, he was eligible for 30 years in prison.

"Mr Bramwell’s illegal activity and his history have finally caught up with him," state attorney Robert Berlin said.
"Regardless of what was stolen, Mr Bramwell repeatedly thumbed his nose at the law. "He took what he wanted, time and time again, and expected to avoid the consequences. "That’s not how it works, as Mr Bramwell has now found out."

Kim Kardashian’s limo chauffeur released without charges by Parisian police probing reality TV star’s £8m jewellery heist

Well this must be a relief for Kim Kardashian West.

Months after the reality star's scary Paris robbery, police finally nabbed over a dozen suspects in the terrifying case. One report even claimed the 36-year-old's limo driver had also been arrested in connection with the crime.

But now, the limo company has told TMZ that driver Michael Madar (pictured above) has been released from custody without being charged.

In fact, UNIC Worldpass insists the 40-year-old was brought in only "for testimony purposes," and is adamant that neither he, nor the company, played any part in robbing Miz Kardashian.

However, other reports say Michael's younger brother, Gary Madar, had also been arrested. The 27-year-old also worked for the chauffeur service on-and-off.
